These Terms & Conditions apply to purchases made through the EatLa website. By placing an order with us, you agree to these terms.

1. ABOUT US
EatLa is operated by Mala Kitchen Ltd (“EatLa”, “we”, “us” or “our”).
We sell food products through our website. Our online store is hosted by Shopify, which provides the ecommerce platform that allows us to offer our products to you.
2. OUR PRODUCTS
We take care to describe and photograph our products as accurately as possible. However, packaging, colours and appearance may vary slightly from images shown on our website.
Product availability is subject to change and we may withdraw or change products without notice.
Please check the ingredients and allergen information provided on the relevant product page and product packaging before consuming our products, particularly if you have a food allergy or intolerance.
3. ORDERS
When you place an order, you are offering to purchase the products in your basket.
After you place an order, we will send you an order confirmation by email. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order where, for example, a product is unavailable, there has been an obvious pricing or product information error, or we are unable to process your payment.
If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, we will refund the amount paid.
Please check your order and delivery details carefully before completing your purchase.
4. PRICES & PAYMENT
All prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP).
The total price payable, including any applicable delivery charges, will be shown at checkout before you place your order.
We accept the payment methods displayed at checkout. Payment must be authorised before your order can be processed.
From time to time, we may offer promotional codes or discounts. These may be subject to additional terms, including expiry dates, usage limits or restrictions on combining offers.
5. DELIVERY
We currently deliver to eligible addresses within the United Kingdom.
Our standard UK delivery charge is £2.99. Standard delivery is free on orders of £30 or more.
Standard delivery usually takes 3–5 business days. Delivery times are estimates and may occasionally be affected by circumstances outside our reasonable control, particularly during busy periods.
Please make sure the delivery address supplied at checkout is complete and accurate. If you notice an error, please contact us as soon as possible at hello@eatlafood.com.
If your order arrives damaged, contains the wrong items, is missing items or hasn't arrived within a reasonable time, please contact us at hello@eatlafood.com with your order number and we'll be happy to help.
6. CANCELLATIONS, RETURNS & REFUNDS
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
Changed your mind
If you change your mind about your purchase, you have 14 days from the day you receive your order to tell us that you wish to cancel.
Please contact us at hello@eatlafood.com before returning any products. Please take reasonable care of products while they are in your possession. We may reduce your refund to reflect any reduction in value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the products.
Once you have told us you wish to cancel, you have a further 14 days to return the products to us. Unless the products are faulty, damaged or incorrect, you are responsible for the cost of returning them.
We will refund the price paid for the returned products and any standard delivery charge you paid. If you chose a more expensive delivery service, we are not required to refund the additional delivery cost.
We will issue your refund without undue delay and no later than 14 days after we receive the returned products, or after you provide evidence that you have sent them back, whichever is earlier.
Damaged, faulty or incorrect orders
If your order arrives damaged or faulty, or you receive the wrong item, please contact us at hello@eatlafood.com as soon as possible with your order number and a photo of the issue where applicable. We'll arrange a replacement or refund where appropriate.
Cancelling before dispatch
If you would like to cancel an order before it has been dispatched, please contact us as soon as possible at hello@eatlafood.com.

7. FOOD PRODUCTS & ALLERGENS
Ingredients and allergen information are provided on our product pages and product packaging.
Please always read the product label before consumption, as formulations and information may occasionally change.
If you have a food allergy or intolerance and are unsure whether a product is suitable for you, please contact us before purchasing or consuming the product.
8. PROMOTIONS & DISCOUNT CODES
Promotional offers and discount codes are subject to availability and any specific conditions communicated with the promotion.
Unless otherwise stated, discount codes cannot be exchanged for cash or used in conjunction with another promotional code.
We reserve the right to withdraw or amend a promotion where reasonably necessary, provided this does not affect orders already accepted.
9. WEBSITE CONTENT
All content on this website, including our branding, photographs, graphics, written content, recipes and designs, belongs to Mala Kitchen Ltd or is used by us with permission.
You may use the website for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not reproduce, distribute or commercially exploit our content without our prior permission.
10. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
Our website may use or link to services provided by third parties, including Shopify and payment providers.
Where you use a third-party service, their own terms and privacy practices may also apply.
11. OUR RESPONSIBILITY TO YOU
We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits your statutory rights as a consumer, including your rights in relation to products that are faulty, not as described or not of satisfactory quality.
We are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract between us was formed, or for losses arising from circumstances outside our reasonable control.
We do not exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded.
12. PRIVACY
We handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Shopify and other service providers may process personal information on our behalf in order to operate our online store, process payments and fulfil orders.
13. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time, for example to reflect changes to our business, website or applicable law.
The terms that apply to your purchase will be those in effect when you place your order.
14. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you will also retain any mandatory protections available to you under the laws applicable where you live.
Nothing in these terms affects any rights you have regarding where legal proceedings may be brought under applicable consumer law.
